Promotions/Enquiries/Bookings: Christina Clarke 07961514052 https://www.facebook.com/bsidersuk/ ALL ABOUT THE BSIDERS The band was formed in 2019 by Steve McGuire who was the lead guitarist in the original Dr and the Medics band who had a number 1 in 1986 with Spirit in the Sky. He is joined by Paul (drums) and Aaron (bass) A smart-looking band, well rehearsed, technically well-served and clearly focused on delivering an excellent performance. They put on a first-class show: looking good, sounding good, and thoroughly engaging as performers with personality as well as fantastic musical skills. The concept of the band is essentially covers, but their USP is that they play only B sides from 7" vinyl singles which cover the period from the late 50s to the early 2000s (when, sadly, music moved to alternative methods of distribution. The band have been successful at audition for the Glastonbudget in May 2020 - They continue to tour local pubs and establishments and are booked on a number of private events including parties and weddings. The appeal of the band is a wide-range of ages who enjoy top quality performance and entertainment with songs from a broad range of years. All performed songs will be very familiar and the show will comprise a wide variety of songs many of which are less-often performed live. Steve can also offer a fantastic post-gig disco, if required. BAND BIOGRAPHY AND AUDIENCE

Fronted by Steve McGuire, original guitarist/vocalist with popular 80s band Dr and the Medics (who had a No. 1 hit in the 80s with 'Spirit in the Sky') The B-Siders are a 3-piece covers band playing a variety of popular songs which are less-often played live. We are ambitious in our aim to entertain a wide-range of ages and interests, and work hard to produce the finest live performance. Their 'USP' is that many of their songs began life as B-Sides of the 7" vinyl singles of yester-year, all of which became hits in their own right. Technically, the band are well-equipped to present a great show to audiences of all sizes: and can produce a great sound for a small or large group, meaning they are comfortable at large and small gigs to suit gatherings of any size.

THE AUDIENCE

The band are already reaching a wide range of audiences in pubs, clubs, festivals (successfully auditioning for the prestigious Glastonbudget Festival in 2020), private parties and weddings.

The band has a growing following and generates interest from a wide range of ages in the audience.

Their style is upbeat, engaging, well-presented with superb sound skills. A good humoured trio, engagement with audiences is very good. Steve's professional lifetime skills of knowing how to provide extra value to the performance with his engaging personality adds something extra to the overall entertainment value, with a likeable personality and truly excellent interpersonal skills. The band keep audiences wanting more by providing a full package of entertainment with sing-a-long and dancing participation a real bonus for all.
